[QUOTE=drawde;5346080]I purchased my car used as well from a MB dealer and they gave me crap when I tried to get an ELW as well. Multiple dealers tried to do it for me and said they could, but when they tried to put the paperwork through it wouldn't go.
I'll say it again, MB will not sell you an MB extended warranty on a car bought from MB dealer (may though on Inde). They are pushing their CPO program.

Ok, so If I have an '09 that is under warrenty either CPO, Extended, or Original and i delete the secondary cats and resonator or add an x pipe and catback. How will that affect my warrenty. Will it void it completely?

Can't imagine how an exhaust change would void warranty. There is some discretion at the dealership. Some dealerships are more mod friendly than others.

It will void the emission warranty and most likely the drive train warranty. The rest of the car will remain under warranty. As the drive train was designed to have a specific exhaust system, the factory could easily claim the modification changed the engine operating parameter outside the design tolerances therefore causing a failure. Removing the secondary cats is also a violation of Federal emission laws, although I've not heard of an individual being prosecuted for it, I know some indy shops have run into trouble.

They won't sell you the MB extended warranty on a used MBZ unless you buy it CPO from a dealer.
