Potential new owner seeking opinions

Hello all,
It's time to get a new car and I was hoping fellow members can assist me in reaching a decision. I'm choosing between a 2013 CLS550 or a C63 AMG coupe ( with MPX and APX). Personally, I want to get a C63 just so I can experience AMG power. Been driving a 550 for a while now and could use some extra horses The CLS63 AMG however doesn't fit my budget right now. How have your experiences been with the C63 coupe? Would you recommend it? Is the car reliable? Heard great things about the car but I've never had the opportunity to drive an AMG. Also, I didn't have that good of an experience with my CL550; the ABC is very unreliable and costly to repair. Going with the C63, I'd have some money left over which can be used for mods as my goal will be to push it to 550hp. Will probably have to do a lot of research on that as to what kind of headers to buy and which company to go with since there are so many products out there for this car

Any advice will be much appreciated. Cheers!

Yes
Given your post, honestly, stretch the budget or save and get a CLS63. Maybe get one slightly used. Tuned CLS63 is NO JOKE.

I love the C63, dont get me wrong, but if youre already planning on dumping a ton of money behind it, just get the TTV8.

What you said is true in terms of yielding power but to be honest, if I was to save up money, I'd probably prefer to get a Maserati GranTurismo S.

Yes
Totally different car though obviously. I suggest you buy what you really want.

When comparing the Masi to the C63 though, I'd take the C63 and pocket the change all day. Masi looks great, but for that coin doesnt cut it performance wise.

I have the same exact question whether to go for the C63 or the CLS550, haven't decided yet! It all returns to what we really want, whether it's luxury 4 door or a sporty fast coupe. The price does play role in my decision also, comparing the two they are similarly priced! Maybe go for a test drive or see both cars in person it'll make your decision easier. For myself I haven't seen both in person yet nor drove any of those cars. I've been thinking about the new generation C class, it'll come out 2015 which is pretty soon in my opinion, the CLS is newly designed that effects my decision also. But overall, I haven't decided yet, I have around a year to make my decision, hopefully the right one. Goodluck!
