Sorry to hear Nick about your CEL... was your car shaking or on limp mode? Just have it checked at the dealership, it will be fixed under warranty in no time.

My car got a CEL the first day I picked it up, it was a bad 02 sensor... been running like a charm since then.

Good luck!

Neither shaking nor limp mode I was messing with the speedometer, then I put everything back together. I started the engine and there it was! I know it's something to do with PCM...

What do you mean by messing with the speedometer?

if you unplugged something had the ignition on it could throw a code.

I was trying to change the lights inside of it. After I put everything back together and started the engine, CEL just popped up. I tried starting and shutting off the engine couple times and it's still there.

How did you get the code? Do you have a code reader/scanner?

If so why don't you just reset it?

After some research...

DTC P2610: ECM/PCM Internal Power Off Timer Performance Problem

Possible Causes
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) SOFTWARE UPDATE
EXCESSIVE RESISTANCE IN THE PCM POWER OR GROUND CIRCUITS
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)

You may have shorted something while having everything apart? I say just reset the code and see if it comes back. I'm sure it's nothing.
