I wonder why she would be so pissed unless she works late like someone pointed out. I have a neighbor about 4 houses down that has a GT3 RS. Imagine if both of us started our cars at the same time each early morning!

Hey, try the nice approach, take the person for a ride, even offer to let them drive your car. If that does not work, tell them to shut the F up.

Get some younger or hipper neighbors
Mine all tell me how good my e55 car sounds and how they are full of envy.
I am 50 year old and one neighbor lady told me how great the car sounds in the drop off line when I bring my 7 year old daugher to school. "I hear that car in the line and it sounds awesome."
Retired cop smiles and says "You did something to your exhaust!!! Sounds great."
There is one that gripes about my 125lb. American bulldog when he barks at a racoon but never anything about the car except "Can you light them up just once for us?"

I know I should say be the bigger person and just file a report or get her on record... But I myself would probably make it a point to rev in front of her house every day then just wave at her when she comes out to yell because like everyone else said most likely its an empty threat. But go with the former vs. the latter to be safe k?

Ever heard the saying, "don't chit where you live?" This includes not making war with your neighbors. Well, unless you like that kind of stuff and enjoy sleeping with one eye open.
I'd report the threat to the popo so that it's documented and leave the lady alone. I'd not go out of my way to **** her off, just go about your business and don't look for opportunities to make uncessary noise in your neighborhood. Otherwise you're no better than this lady IMHO.
Check your insurance and if you're covered (you should be) it is what it is if she makes good on their probably hollow threat.

Maybe backing your car in your drive will ease some of the start up roar? Next time you see her let her know your backing in to keep the edge off.
If that doesn't appease, take her out on the town on a hot date...... Some times you have to take one for the team.$$

Next time I see her I would also just apologize for the noise, calmly say that's just how your car is, and you'll try to keep it down.
Honestly. Look at the situation right now, is it really worth the aggravation about your car and your house just to tell off some crazy old bat? She'll get hers somehow, no need for you to get involved.

She screamed it out and I made believe I dint hear her and walked into my house.
