i now have dads cf trunk with integrated spoiler so i didn't need the other one... only problem is, when the shop tried to take it off... they cracked it a little bit on the edges... any body shop should be able to sand it down a bit and fix it... but you won't be able to keep it CF... you'll need to paint it... maybe white or black...

if you're interested, shoot me a PM
Thanks for the information, but I will buy a new one.

my wife bananas! :D
from the pictures, I think a nice big spoiler will cover most of it so you should be ok.

Sorry to hear about this, i know the feeling. If your deductible isnt that high, I wd have insurance repair the lid and replace the spoiler. But then again, if your deductible was low, you probably would've done this already. Also, whenever I park the car and I don't feel right, I don't hesitate to move it elsewhere, or even leave the area altogether... I've had too many incidents like this.

Same thing happened to me when I had my c300. They stole my CF trunk spoiler.Thats why I just kept my stock one on the c63. Another reason I considered Dads trunk because they can't take it off lol.

Always thought it was the kids in my school who were doing it in purpose.

get video of him doing this and call police.... or
park elsewhere
get dents removed with paintless dent removal
put superglue in his locks at his house or remove the valve stems from his tires

I wish. But we have assigned parking spots in the building and I can't park anywhere else. I talked to him yesterday and asked him nicely to be more careful when he opens the door.

You should point out the damage that he has already done. I would not be as nice as you are if some ****er dented my car multiple times.

His unit is also next to my unit and he used to complain about noise all the time... I don't want him to start calling the building security every week-end... That's why I tried to be nice to him. He got leverage.

Just take it to the dealer and have them go through the insurance company. I am sure it will be a lot more than 1k probably in the ball park of 2200 to have it replaced plus painting the rear lid will take it to over 3k.

Damage to $65K+car versus noise complaints? I think you'd win.

To the OP- You have the Performance Pack on your car so the OEM AMG CF spoiler is priced extremely high to deter others from trying to mimic your car. From my experience- no after market spoiler (except maybe Vorsteiner) would compare to your old spoiler.
If you liked your original spoiler- go through your insurance.
BTW- It had to be some amateur punks because I can remove a stock spoiler in under 5 minutes without damaging the car.

I would go with the mode carbon spoiler. Looks like OEM, nice subtle design, perfect fit, incredible quality. Here are some pics of my installation:

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Sounds like it's time for you to have a dash cam for the front and back with motion activated feature. I just had one sent up yestereday overlooking the front.

How about getting a CF trunk instead? I know it is way more money than a spoiler, but it can't get rip off again.

Something like this?

I think the pics you posted are showing OEM spoiler, but not mode carbon spoiler.

I do agree with OP that if I want a replacement unit, I would rather get the OEM part as well. However, from the cost stand point, it the CF trunk option might be worth looking into.

dantewoo $1000 is better spent imo on cf spoiler from a reputable vendor on here. If you're going with OEM then I'm sure you can get something better than 1k for an oem part. Do your research.

Seems like ripping off trunk lip spoilers is the trend now. My friend got his ripped off his 2002 M3 in a target parking lot in the smack middle of the day. He parked his car for no more than 15 minutes. I think the fools are out trolling these parking lots waiting for the cars to come in.
