Exclamation Holly!!My rear trunk spoiler was taken away, need help!

Tonight I went dinner with my friends, it rained outside, when we finished dinner and went back to the parking lot, I just found that the rear trunk spoiler of my c63 disappeared. I remember it was there when I got the restaurant since I took the unbrella out from the trunk. I think the spoiler might be taken away by some freaking *******s, cuz there are always some yonge stupid korean guys playing and smoking around that parking place. Well maybe not them, no offend to korean people. I was just sooooooooo angry.
Ok, sorry for the complaint.
Is anybody know whether the dealership will cover the lost spoiler?
If not, what is the cost?
And do they have the spoiler in stock and can be replaced right away?
C63 looks so ugly without the spoiler, I can't wait to make it alright.
Any information regarding spoiler replacement are very appreciated!
Thanks to all friends read my post.

W203 slightly modified
I would be more worried about the paint chip on the left edge than a plastic spatula. Rest assured that whoever damaged it would also have warped the actual spoiler. Making it useless to sell again.

Dealerships don't replace parts torn off your car unless it happened while you we're driving at the speed of sound and AMG said it was good for the speed of light.

So basically no. You buy it yourself.

You may like to invest in a black box camera system. That way you can record while parked.

I never understood stick on body parts on a Benz........... Anyway..... Contact your ins company. Just be aware of your deductible.

If you don't go the ins claim route, perhaps time for the voistener spoiler? )

Sorry to hear about ur incident dantewoo. I hope ur trunk is not damaged? If so, let ur insurance fix the trunk & buy u a new spoiler.

If the trunk is fine & u only need a replacement spoiler.. I can sell u mine for cheap if u want. My car is calcite white so check ur color.. Is it arctic white, diamond white or calcite white? I want u to have smthin ready to install.

PM me if u want, I can have it delivered to u as early as Sunday morning cuz my brother is going there late tonight. I'm only 4 hours away from u.

Edit: I'm still curious on how they managed to rip ur spoiler w/o being caught? I mean this thing is on tight!!

agree with Meng, that spoiler was on super tight.. I'm suprised they were able to rip it off without anyone seeing.

luckily if you just had the oem spoiler, it is relatively cheap. The biggest headache is to make sure that there is no damage to the trunk.

of course, now is a great time to get an aftermarket spoiler

Thanks friends.
I just called my dealer and he told me the OEM spoiler cost over $1000.
He will confirm the exact cost next Tuesday.
And to have the spoiler installed, I probably need to wait a quite long time for delivery.
So, I think I should go with aftermarket spoiler, any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about this... I don't understand the need of people ruining others' stuffs. These people need to get their hands chopped off. Yes, either go to parts.com or mbonlineparts.com parts there are way cheaper than stealership or you can take this chance to upgrade your trunk spoiler to something else than OEM

Hi Roswell,
My car is Polar White and the spoiler is carbon fiber.
I guess it is not applicable to install your spoiler~
But anyway, thank you!

I don't know how they rip off my spoiler, but obviously the spoiler was taken by someone, because it is tight, it can't not fall off by itself.
Last night I park my car at Finch/Yonge, the behind of some korean restaurant(also the behind of that Shoppers). Some of you may realize that in that parking place, you can always find a gang of young korean guys smoking and playing there, they do nothing but walk around the parked cars and gesticuating. I suspected they were offender. That's why I mentioned them in my original post.

I feel your pain. I just found out that it was my condo neighbor who dented my whole right side with his door when he opens it. I'm so frustrated. I don't know what to do anymore. I have like 3 deep dents in my car because of him!

Always thought it was the kids in my school who were doing it in purpose.

I have searched both the two websites and can't find a spoiler, because these two websites don't have c63 model~~

Doesnt a vendor here make a spoiler to fit your car?
Have you tried Ebay, there is a ton of spoilers in CF that fit your car

I just found the CF spoiler, http://www.jbspeed.com/servlet/the-8...G-Style/Detail
Looks pretty much like the oem spoiler.
So the provider is the US?

JBSpeed is a sponsor here... Suvneer also has the same spoiler for cheaper if you're not too picky about going real OEM.

I believe they are all being shipped from HK or Taiwan... unless the US vendor has some in stock.

imo you should go with an aftermarket spoiler. Might as well get a more unique look if you have to shell out some cash

younge /finch, i was just there as well. love my korean foods but yea, the parking behind the restaurants are always sketchy. I park on the street or the more lighted parking areas.

i'm korean and i happen to have a big cf spoiler that i tore off another white c63... i can sell it to you for cheap..

but seriously... i have my old cf spoiler which i purchased from mcd...

this isn't my car but this is what it looked like
https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...talled-mcd.jpg

i now have dads cf trunk with integrated spoiler so i didn't need the other one... only problem is, when the shop tried to take it off... they cracked it a little bit on the edges... any body shop should be able to sand it down a bit and fix it... but you won't be able to keep it CF... you'll need to paint it... maybe white or black...

if you're interested, shoot me a PM

Call the Police there should be a security camera at the Shopper Parking lot, if you want to claim the insurance they will ask the Police report too, the Police Station is one block behind the Shopper. Act fast!!
