That's some crazy color scheme but the wheel design looks very good on the CLS. Those 19" don't even look as small as I imagined.

Winter is coming… And being too busy I haven't had the time to re-powdercoat my multispokes.
I decided to try something new (for me) - PlastiDip in Gunmetal Grey.
To say the least I am really surprised to see how good the wheels turned out.
I haven't expected such a nice texture, color, and look.

I'll be mounting these tomorrow or on Saturday so I'll post a few pics.

It's a basic PlastiDip color - gunmetal gray. You can get it online at every PlastiDip reseller.
They say you can use a metalizer on top to give it a shine but I like the primer look.

Thanks Faris. It was my first try with PlastiDip.
I did it as the guys at DipYourCar.com instruct on youtube.

5 coats, 15 minutes, between each coat.
The sides of the spokes required more coats than the face of the wheel.
I didn't do wet coats. I waited each time for the previous coat to dry off.

i have a can of black sitting at home, i might try and do my OEM 18s in matte black, but leave the polished parts as is. So basically black and polished instead of gray and polished.

Thanks for the kinds words guys.
The winter wheels are on but I'm not sure it turned out the way I wanted it to …

When I mounted the wheels today and drove the car out of the garage and looked at the wheels I was extremely surprised - they are blue-grey and not gunmetal-grey

I'll post some pics tomorrow.
