Well you posted the pics so you get the feedback- I think it looks pretty bad. It just makes no sense on an elegant GT cruiser like the CLS. You can put that wheel on a Subie or Evo but to me, I dont like it.
Maybe if you lowered it

I like it; which is what is important
and plus, the color is so permanent LOL......I can never get them refinished,
but I do plan on the others getting a different color

Dude...just dude. No. The CLS is a beautiful car, and imo the only exterior mods that look nice have to be subtle. This is something I would expect in an EVO or STI, not any Mercedes AMG. Sorry!

not sure what those other cars are though......guess my brain has not seen
those images mentioned so I can't really compare.......but I'm guessing they're not

You're right, they are just wheels. You chose: 1) a wheel that looks awful on that car; and 2) a finish that looks awful on everything. That doesn't mean your car is awful, or that you are awful, just that you choose two awful items to accent your car.
If you don't want a person's opinion, then don't post pics. You (like me) have made negative comments about when we see ADV.1 wheels, or postings/pictures by vendors we dont like. If it is ok to make fun then, you have to suck it up and take it now. I hated the gold P40SCs on my CLS63 and lots of people told me it looked ugly. Lots told me they liked it, but I got rid of them because I didnt like them.
Keep the wheels if you think they look cool and can take the constant mockery. Or, send them back to HRE and get them refinished and call it a day.
