C63 TCU(Transmission Control Unit) location?
Cant find any information about TCU location. Any one here remove TCU unit on our C63 car before? Try to search but have no luck. Want to sent TCU out to Eurocharged for TCU tune. Thank you.

All kinds of guys have tuned TCU's from Weistec.
Id check out Weistec for your TCU upgrade. You have to drop the tranny pan to get at it.
You're wasting your money unless you have headers and tune AT LEAST.

722.9 Valve Body and TCU Upgrade
Weistec Engineering is proud to present the first and only valve body upgrade for 722.9 7 speed transmission used in many AMG and non-AMG models (See Compatibility List Below). When we receive your valve body, it is modified using our proprietary techniques to increase line pressure and improve shifting characteristics. Next we make changes to the TCU electronics to compliment the physical modifications.
Weird

You guys of course realize the transmission upgrade as well as most of the m156 modifications were developed on my (and jrcart) car.
Edit: merc63 I am referring to other modifications with require access to parts of b computer no one has gotten into yet but having said hat I wold like to know what the op has done to his car.

you can typically adjust the trans settings through the ecu. I tune gm cars and trucks and just plug into the obdII port and access both maps, engine and transmission.

With all due respect his is not a GM truck and you will find the electronics on the merc just a little bit more involved.

Please don't forget, I also own a C63 so I guess I also reserve the right to be snooty about my purchase with no real knowledge of, how do you say it, what I'm talking about...? However, I am not snooty about my Merc, it is a fine car, but a car nevertheless.

Never said you don't know what you are talking about.
I agree a car is a car and my point was and continues to be that you can not 'program' the TCU to do what you want (at the moment that is) in America. If it were that easy, I would have throttle blipping and I would have different shift points.

Any feedback from those who have had their TCU/Valvebody modified by Weistec? Are the shifts that much quicker? I have Longtubes with tune and was trying to decide between this mod or a LSD.
