Vorsteiner Diffuser Installed new Photo added
Hi All,
Thank you to Eric from Supreme Power for the rear diffuser. Yes it took a while as Vorteiner was not happy with the original fitment so they had to re-tool the rear diffuser, hence the delay. I am glad they did. Received my rear diffuser yesterday, took it to my Mercedes dealer this morning and they installed it for me. I am very happy with the quality and fitment of the Carbon Fibre. The head mechanic at my dealership said it was very well made and was impress with the thickness of the product. He indicated a lot of the Carbon Fibre products he fitted are not as thick and rigid.
I retook the photos after work using studio lights. My neighbours were wondering what is this mad guy doing with all the big light setup in the garage. I really love to look of it. It actually looks better in real life than from a photo

^^ LOL good point!! For us Canadians, spending close to 2k$ for a diffuser is kind of crazy unless money start growing on trees. LOL

Now I see where JL got their styling from. I think the quality of my diffuser is excellent and the price was right, but boy did they sneak that style.
Perry, it looks great! And I'm beginning to like the 2012+ look.

Sticking out is good as more CF will show. No point hiding it under the bumper especially when you have paid an arm and a leg for it.

I wish this pic showed better. But the box in the middle, the non-functional DTM part, is about an 1/8th of an inch further out than the bumper.
I would not worry, unless it drives you nuts. Again, I think it gives it a "tougher" look. Just giving some input from someone that has the same, dare I say, "issue".

I believe that this is intentional. I do not think that it sticks out in a negative way. My JLMotoring DTM diffuser does the same thing. I never looked at it as bad or negatively. They are just beautiful CF diffuser's, mine and yours, and fit the car nicely. Is your diffuser secured properly, no movement or poor installation? If it is, then I see no problem. Actually, I like it. I feel that it makes for a "tougher" performance look. If it bothers you, then I think you will have to figure something out. But mine is installed properly, snug, secure, and with no movement.

Hey Jordanaf,
