If I were to build a C63BS, this one would be the exact car I would end up with. black with aero, and all options... beautiful.

Oh boy. This is risky (for them). There's a strict policy against MB dealers selling brand new exclusive vehicles on eBay. :o
They can get fined heavily. Thankfully, they don't appear to be asking over MSRP (that'd result in even more fines).
Oddly enough, this was also one of the cars I tried to commit on back when I was hunting, and they refused because I wasn't local to them. Funny, they could've had it sold the instant it landed if they were more reasonable. :\

Black is HOT + the aero package is even more sick. And you'll get to have the car right away and forget about the wait..

Still, I'm quite happy with my choice. The wait is killing me though. Should be here in a week or two (by Monday I should have a better ETA).
Would be great if I could snap this one up just for fun and have two sitting around. :P But yeah, alas, heh...

Obsidian black is a stunning color. I've had the 040 black and thought that was better, but i've changed my mind. i put some pics up in the pic thread, you can see..even though it's hard to do black cars justice in internet pics.
#7
Agreed. Probably one of the most stunning blacks I've seen...

Hah, here's another car I almost* got. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=333513930
Looks like it got sold to someone local, who's now trying to flip it. This is why "selling to someone local" is a stupid policy.
(Before anyone asks, the #'s in the listing are wrong. It's 26 2013 US spec cars.)
(* To be fair, this dealership did not refuse to sell to me. I just had already committed on another BS when they finally got back to me on this car.)

I knew it would not take long for the C63BS to pop at MSRP.
I ended up ordering a CLS ILO of a BS. I understand the BS is special with limited production but IMHO, the CLS is such a nice place inside and is quicker stock on the daily roads, let alone after a tune.

I havent been a black car guy in the past. But I just finished a show car prep on mine for an event tomorrow. I will take lots of pictures. I did one step with Blackfire then finished with gobs of Sourveran wax on it. It is dripping wet black and with the sparkle in the sun, it is ti*ts as the kids say....

Very special place to be. Love the CLS interior, wish the BS had it. And indeed faster to my butt meter...

Regardless, looking forward to all your pics after the show/event!

Ebay has this little wording "reserve not met" right under the starting bid price.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Nice ride. I wouldn't be buying, but it's close to me so I should probably drop by and check it out. I wonder if they will let me take it for a spin.

They want way more then sticker for that car. I just sent a buddy of mine there. They are at the 140-150K range (they know they can wait and get) range. I would say, with SUCH an extremely run of these cars, that the 2013, especially, are rare cars that are instant collector cars.
Dont expect to pay less, these guys know what they have, and most dealers do. Unless you ordered the car, and agreed on a price of MSRP from the get go, you are SOL.

Just sayin'... It's against MBUSA policy for a franchised MB dealership to sell a brand new MB above MSRP. (Which is probably why you don't see it advertised above MSRP; and then they hit you with a "market adjustment" in private.)
If someone complains, and has proof (email, or such), they can get in trouble (fines, future allocs withheld, etc).

i would like to meet the moron that put that auction up . starting bid of $132,700 with reserve not met and buy it now of $132,705 has to be one of the dumbest things i have seen . i know the car is rare but $132,705 rare ?????? i don't think so . i have $100,000 invested in my car including the cost of the car . i can just imagine what my car would be like with another $35,000 invested
just my $.02 of course
just my $.02 of course

My friend Romeo is there buying it now, I cannot tell you the purchase price he is paying - but he really wanted one, and with the limited count there, he was not willing to lose it. Unless something crazy happens in the next hour, I'd say that car is as good as sold.

The car has a sticker of 132,705.00 And if you ever drove one, you would say it was worth every penny of that. Its illogical to compare it with a modified run of the mill c63 sedan. Regardless of how much was invested, of course that vehicle may be fast, but thats not what inherently gives the car "value". I am pretty sure most BS owners will agree that it is nothing at all like their last c63.
Whereas these are more collectibles, limited runs from the factory. Theres a different buyer and market for the car altogether. IMHO. THese cars will hold onto their value for a very long time, that is my strong belief.
