Stock shocks on H&R springs will do just fine & last for many many miles. I have not heard on this forum of any shocks failure cause by H&R springs.
Our cars come with sport suspension which can take a lot of abuse.. So don't worry about it. Best & cheapest mod ever in my opinion!

Nice, I just lowered my '13 E92 M3 on H&R springs!

2014 C63 AMG 507 sedan
I'm debating whether to get H&R springs or coilovers, to give the car a nice stance without sacrificing too much of the ride comfort. For those who have the springs, have you ever thought of switching to coilovers? I assume damping is better matched in a coilover setup vs. springs on stock struts? Anyone who has tried both?
