Nice build, I admire your passion and your wallet.
Now the interior is gutted, maybe you can help solve the infamous "rattle" issue some owners are plagued with. =)
@timothy: there's 2 reasons for this build: 1. he can. 2. because RACE CAR!

FYI, there are better internals available than the overpriced stock SLS M159 ones. I had some Stock SLS stuff in mine and pitched them in the trash. Go with the Wesitec internals, they are stronger and lighter and less expensive and they stand up to the 1000 HP my BS is making so your 800 HP not be a problem.

They have been posted on here and on two other forums in several other threads, I also think that they may be on Weistec's website. There are also YouTube vids of dyno pulls on Earls car which has all the same mods as my car as they were built side by side with identical mods if you are a doubting Thomas.

Both Earl and I have only managed 10.2s and 3s as we have run up against some traction issues, we are addressing those issues with suspension mods and hope to get down to run in Houston in Feb.

Do you have pics of exterior upgrades? Are you working on ext at the same time with int? Would love to see some pics.

Thanks bro
Thanks, I will look into that rattling noise
jtcart thanks for the info I have seen and read about your CLK monster, and its one of the reasons that made me buy this car knowing it can handle the kind of power you guys are running at with changing some internals.
No pics of exterior yet and I will update this thread when I have something worth sharing

The project has taken some diversions and I am no longer going to change the look of the car since its dead gorgeous and anything that would be attempted would be to destroy her beauty. So I am investing only in the performance and here is a teaser
