Try switching back to your stock airboxes clear the CEL and see what happens.

Lets try to solve this by process of elimination.

Hi guys. I have 2007 e63 amg. I got my ROW from ECS tuning today I was so excited to put on. I find the change and start the car and well it ran for 4 second and then it turn off. I check everything to make sure all good but nothing car turn off again. Can someone please point me on the right derretion on what I'm I doing wrong. Thanks love this site.

check engine for codes. you probably missed a connector for something somewhere.

ROW boxes arent changing your mixture at idle.

Op bumped an 8 year old thread so these where not his codes, he hasn't pulled them yet it looks like.

So Op, pull the codes, it is pretty hard to cause this issue putting Row's on the car, it shouldn't quit running even with the airboxes not installed at all, only plugs are the MAF's and car will run without the MAF's typically. A huge leak or mafs not plugged in should give some codes but car should not quit running.

OK thanks guy I'm going to check the code tomorrow morning. I was a bit worry so I did remove the air covers (ROW) and put the old ones back and car start up find. But will get back to all soon will give update tomorrow.
