Help me pick a tint percentage for the C!
In the audi I went 15% all around. It's illegal in Ontario and my wife couldn't see out of it at night (luckily she never drove).
Getting tints done next week (I'll pay Thornhill Tints another visit), what tint percent do you guys recommend? Show me some pics of your tint!
(I'm thinking 30 fronts and 15 rears)
Thanks in advance!

I've always been a big fan of 20%, it's enough to darken the glass but it still allows you to see out at night.
Here's a picture of my car with 20% all the way around.

I've ways gone 20% but my last car I went 15 and it is too dark. I can barely see out the sides at night. It looks good during the day and protects the kids but 20 is just as good.

What is considered to be an illegal tint in Ontario? I've heard that it is all up to the discretion of the officer (ie. can he see you, can he see your seatbelt, etc). 15% would make it pretty hard to see into your car, especially at night.
I would recommend 35% all around. A cop friend of mine says he pulls over most people that go any darker 1) just for the hell of it ,2) because most darkly tinted cars are "punk kids" and 3) safety concerns (being able to see blind spots or bikes/pedestrians at night).

I had 35% on and thought it was not dark enough. For the C63, my tint guy recommended 20%, and I couldn't be happier. It's dark enough, but not "punk kid" dark. And best of all it passes the wife test.

IDK what the legal limit is in WA state now, but I got pulled over for tint a few years back. I had pinnacle F1 15, and the cop used a tint meter on the windshield, and sure enough it read 15%. He let me go with a warning, luckily, and didn't even bother to mention the lack of a front plate, and I had LT headers at the time too..
