should i upgrade my brakes?

The lighter brakes are like putting lighter wheels on the car they will change the dynamic of braking and acceleration maybe not so much that you'll feel it.. I changed mine at 28,000 miles stock rotors are like brand new... Mine where a good deal for 1,600 but sold them already
i like my stock wheels so the rotors will give me some good weight savings for the occasional trips to the drag strip... i guess i just need some fronts after i find out how my stock rotors are... if i can use the oem rotors for a while, i may just get some oem pads and keep everything oem until the rotors go bad... that'll give me time to get some front rotors...
what are your thoughts on using the endless pads i have on the stock front rotors and go ahead and switch out the rear rotors and pads with what i've got?
