Benzworks Longtube Headers

Anyone running them? Benzworks and MHP are my top two choices as they make true longtubes. Does Benzworks offer midpipes as well? I appreciate all feedback.

Faris, that is awesome! I really like how it sounded at cold start.

I'm looking at getting an exhaust system for my '08 C63; other than the BenzWorkz headers, what else did you have? Are those the stock mufflers?

Yes these are stock mufflers in the video

I had agency power mufflers on the car that I didn't like
They sounds good but they had some rattling and drone in cabin

I don't remember if the valve were open or not

I just installed Benzworks Long Tubes. I love them! I kept the secondary cats because its already loud enough just deleting the primaries. It still retains a stock sound when you cruise around town, but when you jump on it all hell breaks loose!

Thanks for all the replies guys! Curious if it is as loud as the mhp headers. Buddy of mine is running them, and we have been having a competition between our cars. Also how much were they if you don't mind me asking?

If you're looking to be loud they will sound virtually the same. Serge at Benzworks will set you up however you want to do it. If you want to get rid of your secondary cats as well as your primaries he can do that. As far as price, I didnt buy it because of that but after everything was done, I'm sure it was still cheaper than MHP.

I also see a lot of people are getting their exhaust systems installed and getting tunes. Is a tune absolutely necessary?

I figured it was just install and go when it comes to an exhaust. Or are folks just doing that to squeeze every little bit of horsepower out of the exhaust?

Sorry for my noobish questions, I'm new to these type of cars.

You have to get a tune with your long tube headers because the air fuel ratio changes and its dangerous to the motor. You should not drive without a tune with any type of header. Changing the filters and airboxes is ok without a tune but not headers.
