What's the difference between the CR300HD and the CR500HD?

what is the maximum capacity for the CR500HD support? Does 128GB work?

The main difference is that CR500HD is equipped with Sony EXMOR CMOS Sensor. The wide angle is still 135 degree from CR300HD.

However, this new Sony CMOS sensor really enhanced the overall video quality. It reduced sun glare in the daytime and reduced reflected headlights in the night time.

As mentioned, you can also reformat the SD card from the device as well.

All the buttons and features are still the same!

You can expanded to 32GB. I wish!!! 128 would work. haha but perhaps in the short future.

It really depends on your software setting. If G sensor is sensitive then it would make more clips everytime it gets triggered. Even for motion sensor, if it is set to sensitive, it will record more video files. I would safely say about 2 days of video would be recorded on a 32GB.

Yes, you are correct.

Two channel system simply means there are 2 cameras. one facing forward and one facing the rear. You would need two power kits to hardwire both to your fuse box. Please see 1st thread where white C63 has 2 channel system built in.

I saw in the video the speed reading is blank without a data. Is there anything else, say a GPS sensor, that needs to be connected so the speed reading would work?

However, please note that your speed would be always recorded and there are pros and cons on recording your speed. We always let our customers to turn off the GPS unless our customers are always obeying the legal speed limit.

I'm interested. What's the typical install time?

We normally take about 40 min at our shop to install and go over the product with our customers.

As I mentioned, Mercedes C63 AMG is one of the easiest cars we have installed. Generally, Japanese cars are the most difficult as their fuse box is located underneath the driver steering wheel pannel and their fuse box does not have places to ground the -'ve end. However, hiding wires through a-pillar is easy.

Whereas Germans cars have much more room in the fuse box and have many grounds that could work. Hiding wires through a-pillar is most difficult in the Audis, but BMW and Mercedes are very easy.
