OEM AMG Wheels available
Hey guys,
I have access to all used but in new condition AMG wheels in all sizes and for all cars - not only the C63 but the CLS, E, CL, S and SLK.
I was just wondering how much sets of used in new condition original wheels go for over in the USA/Canada to see if it would be worthwhile me advertising them as they will be coming from Dubai and shipping will obviously add to the price of them. Not sure they're worth it or not but thought I'd check.
For example I can get sets of used OEM 18" c63 wheels for around US$1000 sometimes a bit higher however not sure if that's a good price there or not. Over here, it's an amazing price. Thanks

This is a set of OEM 18" wheels attached I just sold for US$1,100. All wheels are inspected first and confirmed for authenticity and to ensure there's no bends or any structural problems.
The 19" over here as on my car in the signature (not black but silver) go for around US$ 1,700 - 1,900 for the set of four in as new condition however while available, they're rare and take around 5-7 days to source. Would really appreciate if you can let me know what both the 18s and 19s go for over there so I know if it's worthwhile advertising or not.
All replica wheels are also available for all AMG cars and cost between US$ 350 - 800 / set depending on size and design however we always recommend the OEM on powerful cars.
Thanks

Also a set of original 19" Lorinser LM Turbine wheels available. They are in good condition and not bent but need approximately US$ 200 to be refurbished and made to look like new. They are going for US$ 1200

There seems to be some interest. Was wondering if anyone works in shipping or has any contacts in shipping? Via air, prices will be high however sea, which will take a little longer, I'd imagine will not be so much.
Can also arrange individual wheels if there's enough interest to break a set.
Thanks

Very nice of you to try to help members here getting used set at great deal. But I believe shipping wheels by air from Dubai will cost a little fortune. By sea, will take few months + we get nailed here with taxes & duties fees... so it brings the price up pretty high.
So in my opinion, a 1700$ OEM 19's in Dubai will be closed to 3000$ once they hit American shore after shipping & taxes. Not worth it unless they come with good tires.

Thanks Roswell,
Not that I'm advocating it but if wheels are listed at $1000 or less on the invoice, customs or taxes will be cheaper. From the little I've investigated so far, shipping can cost around $150 via sea however you're right, shipping will take some time I believe I've been quoted at 5 - 8 weeks. Anyway, just thought I'd check. As you've said, may not be worth it in the end.

Not a problem bro, it was just my opinion from a buyer in America stand point.
Lowering the value will definitely save the buyers on taxes... but coming from that far & by boat involves risk of damaging or losing the wheels which the insurance would only cover the value declared of the wheels. So it's always risky but sometimes worth it.
On your end, it might also give you more headache than good if something goes wrong with the wheels during transit.

Yeah, I hear you bud.
Was mainly checking to see what value of wheels are over there and it seems when shipping and taxes etc are added, it may not be worth it. The only upside is I can get any OEM wheel made by AMG within 5 days if not available in the US but then again who knows if it's worth it. For now, I think I am convinced enough not to advertise.
Cheers for your input.

Well, if u want to know what ppl are willing to pay in North America for the OEM 18's 5 spokes, I sold my set with tires for 2000$.. But 2500$ with tires is reasonable.
For the OEM 19's 16 spokes, I paid 2700$ with tires (I got lucky though cuz my set was used for only 2000km)... But anywhere up to 3500$ is reasonable. Hope that help u figure out how much for just wheels.
