Pay the deductible Let your insurance take care of this. In the end, it is just a car and it should be covered under the insurance. It can be easily repaired. Effing losers likely have it a lot worse than you do.

Happened to me once at my old gym, luckily the garage had cameras. Found out who it was. Let's just say he had a hard time eating for a while and switched gyms.

Sorry to hear about your car. Stinks to be violated like that. . But I sure wouldn't be taking my car to movie theater that are mostly teenager hangout and leaving it for 2-3 hrs.

Funny thing is, I've been parking all over SF, Oakland, Hayward, San Jose, the Mission (SF) and no problems until this theater.

No fault of your own in taking it out to the movies. You should not feel hindered in bringing your car out anywhere. Don't treat these cars like sheltered garage queens. That's why we pay for insurance. I can't say that I wouldn't think twice about bringing it out to that theater again, but it sure is a shame that there are such social misfits around that sometimre create these inconveniences many. Keep things in perspective, your problem is rather minor, considering all the recent terrible events that have been taking up all the headlines. Be safe out there fellas

We never go to that theater even though it's the closest one to my gf's parents. This was part of a long evening of planning mishaps and changes.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I just feel like the car is in the shop every month for one reason or another.

I know, this happened the same day as the CT tragedy so that did temper my frustration. I was happy to spend the rest of the night in with the lady, but it doesn't necessarily make the sting go away.

Sorry man. I feel for ya. My uncle took his quite old 03 ML350 to the theater (in San Francisco as well) a couple months back and someone keyed the whole side of the car from the fender to the rear door. It really sucks that there's all these jealous people out there.

Sucks, had my GTO keyed there also a few years back. There is really no way to avoid it no matter what you drive. My friends minivan was also keyed there. I have a friend with a body shop in San Mateo I can set you up with if you like. TC

Happened to my C63 last summer at school they keyed my car from front headlight to the tailight both sides the parking lot had cameras but they were off that day

you must have been so angry for the cams to be off that day. Getting keyed is one of the things that pisses me off the most especially since there is no reason why to do this. it also happened to my dads 204, hope this won't happen to my car

What theater was this at? I was planning on going to see the Hobbit at either WC or PH theater. Maybe I'll drive the old ML instead...
