These days I pray often for our nation, that we can find some relolution to the issues that threaten to divide our great house. Seems as though leadership is completely polarized on all issues both social and financial but for certain the direction in which we are headed is not sustainable. We were founded as " One Nation under God " but those founding principles have little meaning to so many.

Anyway, off the soap box.........Merry Christmas to all, enjoy your tidings in typical AMG fashion: fast and loud!!!!

Keith, well said and personally I would like to see more of these sorts of thoughts. On Dec 18th we celebrated my son's 6th birthday and all during the day I kept thinking about what happened in CT, how those fathers/mothers/brothers/sisters must have felt and it broke my heart. It also made me realize more importantly how VERY lucky I am and how grateful I am. All the commercialism of Christmas aside, regardless of faith or belief, we should all remember that this time of year is meant to be with loved ones and to give rather than receive. The biggest present I could ever receive is one i get everyday....having a wonderful wife, two beautiful kids, a roof over my head and not wanting for much.

So while we all glow in the warmth of the holidays, spare a moment/thought or a few bucks for those less fortunate.

Merry Christmas to all and may this find all of you safe with your loved ones.

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays. Past month has been so bad in the news. Principal taking her daily walk in the neighborhood was hit on Wed before thanksgiving at my rental. Last monday, another pedestrian hit crossing the street down the street from me at 3am coming home from work. And the shooting in Conn. May 2013 bring better things for everyone.
