OE TUNED C63 vs F10 M5 STOCK

I Hear you guys but who would show up for a race against a comparable car and leave it in efficient/comfort mode ? From the race you can obviously tell he was in gear and there was no kick down as they both pulled as soon as the 3rd honk went off so he was in manual. Once the car is revving im sure the car is still putting out max power those setting are affecting throttle response, electric steering weight, suspension stiffness, and shift speed. All of which give you the sensation of a faster more precise car but once the pedal is to the floor neither of those things are going to make it faster or put down more power. With the exception of shift speed and even that will not be a huge difference what is it .2 second shift instead of .08? Either way great race hope to see more in the future against these new TT DI beast out

Exactly ! Plus like I said before he was obviously in manual mode as he took off after the 3rd honk with no kickdown so the only difference would be shift speed and that's not really anything huge. No excuses !! Good run

so we have confirmed that the M was most likely in the wrong mode. And you guys were neck and neck with this setting. So, if if was in the correct mode, it's night night for the c63. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Run what you brung. What if the C63 had headers, what if it had nitrous, fact is it did not. The M5 driver was not paying attention to what he was doing, so it turned out to be a draw

The M5 driver is not the smartest since he did not put his car in the best possible way to race. Its not like he did not know you were racing.
With the 3 honk set up, there will always be one car that will start just a bit before the other one and when you have cars that have about the same hp to weight ratio, it will lead different results every time (this time, you were even, next time he could pull a few car lengths on you).
The new M5 in most situations will show a C63 tuned its taillights. Not by much but if I were in Vegas, I would put my money on the M5.

yes, I agree. But for certain purposes.. I think it's important to know that tuned c63 will not beat an f10 M5.

Pretty close race, very impressive for just a tune, but I think we all know what would happen if they threw a tune in the M5 and got those tt's breathing heavier.

Jon how come your not putting up the video of when you raced my buddies stock F10 M5 and lost??? He raced you with 500 miles on the car and he didn't even have his 1200 mile service!! You got lucky racing a idiot in an M5 who probably had it in regular mode and didn't even know how to drive cause a tuned C63 should not hang with an M5, I don't even pull on my buddies M5 with my tuned E63 up until 80mph and you are! I call major BS with this video

Here in NY a bunch of gear heads go to a place called Captree every Sunday early mornings, one day me in my E63 and my buddy in his M5 go, we park not even 20 min later this guy walks up to us saying he wants to race the M5, I was like you walked all the way from over there to pick on an M5 lol he was cool and all but lied about being stock first off all, Jon you lil liar you said your stock but the OEtune didn't help lol, anyways my buddy finally agreed to a roll race and it was close but clearly a win for the stock M5...nothing in this video he has posted makes sense to me

Why do you care what he puts on here and what he doesnt, I think it is up to him what should he do with his own videos. Jon def is a cool dude we spoke an hung for awhile. i just like when people are straight, if he would of walked up and said listen I have a tuned C63 can we give it a go against the M5 instead of making me think racing a stock C63. So my buddy was like Nick what's up why is a stock C63 calling me out lol I was like I don't know. But at the end of the day it's all in good fun! Thumbs up to both of them, I'm down to race anyone my car is running insane today, got the VP109 and ran it for a few miles its a beast
