Firstly merry Christmas to those who celebrate! and all the best in 2013.
have a look at the kit this company here in South Africa has developed, quite a bit of money but the results seem quite good. http://http://www.rgmotorsport.com/html/c63_amg.html

Just noticed that they recommend Torco Racing Fuel for this application. Is anyone running Racing Fuel for day to day driving and has anyone run into any problems by doing this?

Your good with unleaded race fuel only on stock tune (VP 100) other than that you have to tune your car for a race gas like VP MS109

IE: Fuel 1 is 13:1 while conventional fuel is 14.7:1.
If you run fuel 1, at closed loop cruise 14.7afr, you will be running that fuel lean. Not all fuels are different, but a few are. I believe ms109 is.
Shell has some awesome racing fuels, check them out. Way more consistent then VP.

what's the price on this kit ?
this sounds pretty nice but you have to run 95oct minimum to get 630whp , if my math is right . i wonder if they have even addressed the tranny issue with this much power

i got quoted a while ago, but from memory it was somewhere around R300 00 which is around $35 267. i think, will have to double check when they open in the new year.

i paid a lot less than that for my supercharged , fully built tranny , 91 octane pump gas beast and i'm making more power than 630whp . my price also included install of my LSD among other things i had done .
can't go wrong with Weistec

The blower market for these motors is getting crowded, let me know when somebody comes up with one that can compete with Weistec's performance and anywhere near Weistec's price point/value.
