Another WaveTrac installed in Melbourne Australia.

As others have noted, my WaveTrac required minor maching of the housing to fit.

Just had my wavetrac put in...I had OEM LSD...It's night and day difference...it actually feels like the HP is being put down for real now..before when I'd WOT it it'd hesitate for a second and do some wheel spin..now it just launches like crazy, no traction lights blinking either..feels a lot tighter then the OEM one..the OEM one felt kinda sloppy and loose now that I've driven 100 or so KM on the wavetrac

Imo the wavetrac ( the quaife I'm sure is similar) is a must do mod
Big bang for the buck usable under all conditions, daily driving in bad weather or sport driving

so the wavetrac LSD isn't a perfect fit mod? what needs to be done?

On some diff housings ( most? All?) a corner needs rounded/radiused for clearance
A couple of mm in a non- structural area

mine was $900-ish to install...7.2 hours..it's worth it for sure, it's raining bad here and I have pretty bald tires and car takes off when I WOT it...OEM LSD I'd just be getting the light blinking 50000 times

I have 9K miles now on the Wavetrac. I have no second thoughts about whether it was worth replacing the OEM LSD for. Under almost any WOT condition (on 275-19 PSS) I hear a brief chirp and then I hook up and launch. For those of you with the OE LSD I'm not advising that you go out and replace it with a Wavetrac but if you do, I guarantee you'll feel the difference and it's a good one.
