Were there software updates of the command units for '12 models re: receiving texts?
Heard there was one in late Fall 2012 but can't confirm yet that it exists for my car (W218) or any car at all for that matter. Anyone get their command unit software upgraded recently?

Mine is a 2012, production date was July 2011. Mine cannot support Texts yet. I tried what Rage posted a few months back but it didnt work for me. Anyone know how to get it to work?

Early production 2012 for me as well, and I am able to receive texts with my Iphone 4.
It took a few tries, but the important part is to unmarry both the phone and the car. Rage2's instructions are spot-on.
