6 months into ownership report: 2013 sedan

I figured I would throw out my impressions after half a year of ownership.

The car is simply amazing, I am still experiencing new thrills on a regular basis.

Let's start with the positives:

The seats are unreal.
At first, I didn't find them that comfortable and the bolsters cut into my lats but either I found the right seating position or the seats molded to my torso better over time, likely a combination of both.
I recently figured out that I liked the seats better with the lower lumbar support and the upper lumbar support dialed in a few notches each.
The bolsters work perfectly when taking turns at high velocity.
The seats also look amazing and wait till i put the carbon fiber seatbacks on that just came in... they will look simply amazing.

The appearance of the exterior -- the thing just looks like a beast.
A big fin carbon fiber diffuser brings it up a notch.
I do plan on getting a larger trunk spoiler to see how that looks, too.
Carbon fiber front lip also just came in, will go on soon.
Side marker switchout for smoked lenses will help, also.

Acceleration is brutal and low end torque is king.

Exhaust at startup and downshift blips are sick.

I've had a couple guys give me the thumbs up while driving, which although kinda cheesy, did make me feel like I was driving something special -- kinda like when you have a hot girl, other guys are gonna check her out...

The negatives:

Steering feedback and feel could be improved --

Traction when taking off from the line is poor -- I know that wider tires will help...

Spring Mods:
KW DDC coilovers
HRE S101 19 inch rims with PSS 245s and 265s

Nice! I love the seats in this car as well.

Funny you and others mention people giving thumbsup while driving. I feel like nobody around here notices it is any different than your run of the mill C300. Maybe I need to put on an exhaust, lower it and put on some carbon bits. :P

my wife bananas! :D
since you're doing coilovers, why dont you aim for 275s then?

also i think a big spoiler will really make your car pop!

I don't want to risk any kind of rubbing...

Do you have a recommendation for which spoiler I should get???

how much are you thinking of dropping the car?

and as for the spoiler, the mode cabon or Boca bootlid spoiler will look great.

besides the beast itself, I would love to hear a little bit more about the KW DDC coilovers. What do you think of it?
