E to a C, upgrade or down grade?
Went to our local MB dealer yesterday and picked up my girl a MY11 C300, low miles tasteful options...blah blah blah. Our salesman whom we've bought cars from before threw me the keys to an 09 C63 very low miles with PPack and said have fun (very clever sales tactic BTW). WOW, very impressed at the handling and the way it accelerated! I have 3 years of warranty left on the E63 and thought I would trade it in on a 12' or 13' E63 but I have to say the C63 bit me hard. Thanks for listening.

my wife bananas! :D
if you are looking purely at the MB pecking order than yes you can say it is a 'downgrade'... however the E and C are two very different cars imo... the c63 is more agile and more fun to drive around with. the E63 is a total beast on a straight.

If you're looking for a ´13 E63 you get the twin turbo experience which is considerably faster than the C. Of course the E is not as fun to drive, but it has a nicer interior etc, plus more trunk space so it's also more practical. I'd probably go with the E63 in your position and change the airmatic to a KW suspension.

slightly used c63 BS or go with E63.. those m157 engines is no joke.. i smoked a 458 and gallardo lp550 with my tuned CLS. those twin turbos sound will put a huge smile on your face for sure

New C Class style is coming out next year while the facelifted E is coming out next year. I'd wait on either front.
I see you're in WA. Just curious as to which dealer you're using.
