Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with SLS Mods by PP-Perform.
This was done recently @PP-Performance. The Intake looks magnificent. The car performance is monstrous. Check out the mods
A little modification to the hood is required:
The car Dynoed 605HP on the crank on a Dyno-Maha LPS3000. for more info, check out GT Spirit:

If anybody is intrested in getting this done. Please PM me

That's amazing!!! Just replacing the complete intake manifold, camshaft, crankshaft and pistons from the SLS AMG, you get 605bhp?! Very impressive! That's a good job well done.. imagine what an ecu tune and LTH would add on to its horses!

The car already had LT headers . It also has an ECU tune. Without the ECU tune, you wouldn't be able to fit the SLS intake. Its freakin fast though. It beat a couple of tuned M157's :-) and a tuned BMW M5 F10

But what do you mean by "without the ECU tune, you wouldn't be able to fit the SLS intake"? Isn't an ECU tune just a flash via the OBDII port and wouldn't touch the physical aspects of the engine front?
So correct me if I'm wrong - the complete intake manifold includes the big triangular structure on top of the engine head where the intakes lead the airflow?
Would you be be able to share what are the added costs for all these SLS parts?
LOL, I'm already happy with the recent tune from OE Tuning which recorded 430whp on the dyno! What else with all these SLS parts?!
Thanks!

SLS Qatar: Halla halla.. No wonder the huge gain LTH and Tune on top of the SLS parts would make better sense to the added mods on the C63. Would you know what ECU tune was loaded on the car?

The ECU tune is required to fit the SLS intake due to the rellocation of the MAF sensors and Throtlle bodies. It is also needed to adjust timing to the SLS camshafts.
I know you are very happy with your C63 that is making 430whp. I gurantee you though, on a Dyno-Maha LPS3000, it will not hit 540 on the crank. If you like, call me up I'll set you up with a race against this beast and you can see the diffrence for yourslef and maybe then you would want to upgrade. Let me know if you want my help

Can someone explain with some science whby this intake yields such improved perfomrance, what is different about the design that mkaes the differece to stock?? Obviously it looks different from the outside but what is going on inside?

Actually don't worry about it, I just saw the inside of intake manifold on Megafactories by sheer coincidence! Looks like the ends of 8 trumpets in there!!

That wasn't a shot at you or your personal budget which is why I said 80% of 63 owners...personally I thought it would be much more than that but than again I stil think its more than what most ppl would be willing to spend. I would rather spend 8k on this rather than cams.

not enough to spend $8k on it IMHO

I can promise that there is no way of getting all this for $8k . i would assume you have to get a new tune to support all this stuff and let's not forget about the modifying of the hood to fit it
When you said 8k I assumed you were talking about intake mani only correct? Not that entire setup....I would think the entire setup would be in the 15-20k range
not enough to spend $8k on it IMHO
