FORGET Autotraitor.. seriously. I recently sold 2 hi end cars. I had significantly more hits from Craigslist than Autotrader by about a 5 to 1 margin... And most of the people that called me from Autotrader were dealers trying to "lowball" me or sell my car for me under consignment for a $795 fee.

Based on a session from a "how to sell your Porsche" run by the local club, they suggest posting on Ebay with a high enough reserve for it not to sell, but for you to follow up on serious interest. Dealerships also state that they pay the Ebay listing price primarily to advertise and then sell outside of Ebay.

My suggestion is to advertise through Craigslist first... seriously.

Lastly, just get rid of the dog and keep the car.... Getting rid of the AMG will only be your first step to emasculation. Hold your ground and a used minivan if you have to...
