thinking of selling...
So I'm going to be starting a family soon and feel that the C might be a little cramped for the me, the wife, the irish wolfhound, the baby an all the fixings(strollers, diaper bags, etc...) I'm thinking I'll look for an E63, maybe even a wagon! If I decide to go REALLY crazy I'll get a GT-R and a Volvo wagon for the wife and family LOL.
If you might know anyone interested let me know. Here are the details:
2009 C63
33,200 miles (so far)
Tenorite Grey with black interior
As far as I can tell it's has everything except the performance package.
It has a Velos tune which I am very happy with.
the car comes with OEM rims and tires (I will have the check the thread) and a set of winter rims (tire rack 18x8 all around on 225s)
The car comes with a Zurich warranty (platinum coverage) which covers everything the OEM does and then some! valid for 3.5 more years and up to 75K miles. The warranty was 6k+.
Up to date on all services (less than 200miles ago)
The only issue with the car was that my wife struck a metal object parking in a driveway at less than 1mph that caused a tear in the from bumper. I have purchased a new bumper and it will be painted by a VERY good body shop here in the DC area.(I've been holding out till the weather gets a little nicer to install it). I also have a CF front lip that will be installed with the new bumper.
Before any sale, the car will be detailed inside and out professionally. I never sell a sub par product.
As for price i'm not too sure what to ask for ... seing I'm offering the sale with extras. Does 42k sound fair?
Thanks guys,
JF

gratz on starting a family! exciting times indeed!
from the post, it seems like you are actually just ready to move on from the C63 than needing a larger car (since you mentioned GTR + volvo wagon ). since you have a 09 and if you were the original owner, yup i think its about that time
imo get your wife a good baby mover she wants... that will leave you free to get whatever you need We have a GLk for baby moving duty but will probably move into a GL next year when we need more space.

(a)'12 C63 P/P, LSD, 19" m/spoke,comfort pack. (b)Astra SRI.
"Irish Wolfhound & Baby", in the backseat??......Ha ha ha.....that would be a very funny situation, but like you say, perhaps not very practical?
I agree the C63 would be VERY cramped. There's only the two of us, so it's fine, but even then, when we're travelling, with luggage in the boot, a few odds & ends on the back seat, there's not much space left.
Cheers, Pickles.

I bought my 2009 with 16K miles, leather package, premium sound and otherwise pretty standard; in like new condition, 10 months ago from a dealer that was asking 44k. Got it for 42k after a lot of haggling, with only 16 months warranty left on it.
So yours with 33k miles and one more year on the calendar seems bit high for 42.

One thing is for sure ... both you and I have a great car! One that I will be sad to part with

Im from Toronto and yes the markets are different, I don't know of a c63 that sells for less than 40k, the car is still on warranty, an 09 sold in my dealership for 50k, not loaded, with 70k Kms, so I figured buying a new 12 justify s the price point, all relative, your price is bang on , people will pay for that thing

OK so the wife and I talked this evening and we came up with the following 2 choices:
1- get a used Volvo v70r that I will make new if you will and a GT-R, let's be honest, for me.
2- get an E63
Basically what I'm saying is that the car is officially for sale
Offers are welcomed but I'm pretty set on my price as a total package.
