Why C63 > E63?

But yeah E is maybe more maturish oriented than the C. Although I'm not saying all C63 owners are immature but you still feel like a kid while driving the C. So much fun
In both of these instances, I advised my friends that whilst the C63 was perfect for wifey & me, the E63 would be more suitable for them.
The C63 is perfect for us, but I think, for some people, the E63 is more practical....more interior space, a smoother ride, just generally more relaxing, if ya gonna be in the car a lot.......but of course with massive performance when ya want it.
Cheers, Pickles.

than E55 is the answer over E63
The C is more nimble 4 sure but as others have said fit & finish belongs to the E class.
the mod potential on 55's are endless.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about the 2010-2011 sports package but I assume it's the same package without the extra hp. Does anybody have any driving time between the E63 sport package and C63?
I turned a 1:50.00 in a 2012 E63 on Laguna. Someone matches that, then you have my respect.
The deal is this... The cars are better than we are on average. The same weekend I did the 1:50, the best a amature SLS was driven was a 1:47.1. Regardless you get a C or an E you will enjoy the ride.
SLS and C63BS will do 1:37.xx on Laguna.
Tommy Kendall with him and 380 lb of passengers did a 1:45 in a 2008 C63 on Laguna. This is super human so we all have the opportunity to greatly improve.
I would consider both C and E equivalent except for those on a skill level far above average.

I've driven many cars on various tracks, including all performance cars in my signature and others and can tell the difference in feel and performance between a heavy car with a softer suspension vs. its opposite and will inevitably always turn a faster time in the latter.
That being said, I'm faster on Mosport in my C63 vs. my M3, although the C63, while heavier still have more HP and torque per lb of weight. Will a well driven E63 be faster than a poorly driven C63 on a HP neutral track, absolutely. Example in case: I routinely lapped a poorly driven M6 on Mosport in my 340HP Z4MC with a ~200lb passenger and I am 210lbs (it was nimble as hell - however Mosport is a HP track). However, equal drivers, the C63 should be faster and more enjoyable to drive.
