this car ever seen a dyno or done any pulls on the street or strip ? obviously this car is hyped up for a magazine cover but i don't believe it until it runs

This really makes me wonder how many cars are out there.... 715 to the ground seems crazy high even with nitrous, was that the kind of numbers dad's was pushing when he had nos?

This car is really slick in person. The pictures dont do it justice. And yes this is Jamie's car, she also has that widebody SL55 and use to have the black SLR. Her car is strictly for over the top show now. The horsepower numbers are with the nitrous shot included probably.

I know of 3 cars running Nitrous. Safe? Meh, that is debatable, it all depends on shot/tune. Dad's I know had a 200shot on it... thats the highest I've heard of. Jamie's, I believe is at 100 or so from what I heard last. There is a video somewhere of them tuning her car that is shot from inside the car where you can tell nitrous makes everyone in the car go "whoa!!" lol

What I am trying to get at is:

Other than a charcoal delete, resonator delete and secondary cat delete and OE tune, I am running stock. Would a 70 shot nos be safe for me (08 with 70k kms) or do I risk my engine blowing / headbolt issue arising?

a correct nitrous setup would run you the same cost as long tube headers.. Just get long tube headers already! You'll gain 50+ and your tune can be more aggressive. Forget nitrous until you get long tube headers!

Nitrous out here I can get for $500. LTH, I need to order from the US and then with shipping I'm looking at around $1500 + used or more new.

I am not sure, but I wouldn't do it to my car.... that being sad I am sure dad's took it off his car for a reason, not implying that I know why but I am sure it's not the best thing for our cars.

she does not bull****, im not going to doubt the horsepower because she does her cars the right way with top end materials

I ran nitrous for two years in my CLK beofre going to a supercharger. I made hundreds of passes at the strip with nitrous and used it on the street from time to time as well. If it is installed properly and you hook up a wideband gauge and monitor your AF's you will have no problems. When my motor was torn down to install the Weistec forged internals they said it looked brand new and could not believe how good it looked considering all the nitrous I pumpred through it and how I beat on it. The fact that the car was run with race fuel only from day one might have something to do with that, but not sure.

well the mag says 75 shot but who cares if it's 75 or 100 , theres no way that car is making 715whp . i think Keith's car made almost 700 with a 200 shot .

the OE tuned trans ?
the headers and downpipes ?
the Black Series rear bumper ?

the body shop is the same one that quoted me almost $60,000 to do the BS kit and repaint . they wanted $20,000 for just the rear flares

A look under the hood reveals the mighty 6.3L beast which is force fed with oxygen and fuel by a pair of Nitrous Express systems. The car runs a 100 hp direct port wet system and 75-shot single fogger. Thanks to the hard work of Phantom Garage, rear wheel power hits 630+ hp and is just shy of 600 lb-ft of torque.
