Just saw this video today and thought about getting some. They said one can has about 9 applications, which last for 6 years.

Anyone interested in going in with me? We could do it during a local meet

^^^Yup. Go with a Laser Interceptor. Great product, software upgrades frequently, and the only one known to consistently jam the Laser Ally

Jammers unfortunately are illegal here in California. Unless I am mistaken, all we are allowed is Detectors.

You're right.

Have you guys tried it? How are you sure this stuff doesn't work?

I've found more video reviews and forums saying that it IS effective, not 100%, but it never claims to be fool proof. I think a buddy of mine will go in together for a can and an airbrush gun. Even if it only reduces the effective distance of a LIDAR gun by 50%, that's plenty of time to react.

Combined with our Valentine 1s I think it'll be a pretty good, legal system.

What do your setups look like? All of the ones I've seen have the jammers protruding from the grill. I did that research as well, but it's a pretty cost solution by itself, let alone installation. Do you have them on the front AND rear or front only?

I don't have one on the C63 yet. I've been too busy since I picked up the car in Nov. Eventually, I'll have 2 heads for the front, 2 for the rear. I had a front only setup on my Lexus and it paid for itself. Only a handful of gearheads noticed. Cops never even asked what they were. It also depends on the color of the vehicle. My cars are all black so the head blend in much easier. A white car, the heads on the back can stand out a little bit.

i was also contemplating buying a Blinder HP905 setup for around 600 bucks but didnt go through with it since installation is also equally expensive and its illegal in california. Problem is that more and more cops have started using the LIDAR and radar detectors will be useless. at least it plays on my mind even if my radar detector is switched on.

Well, my V1 has reacted too slowly to LIDAR because they're either hidden well or they wait to snipe. I feel like if this stuff can deflect most of the LIDAR, then I could react to the V1 and adjust my speed in time before they get a subsequent read.

Yeah, I panic when the V1 throws up a Laser signal. Wish I could Jam.

Just turn up the power on your Distronic Plus or advanced collision avoidance system.

Big Infinities with the electronic toys always set off laser detection systems.

Just pulled the trigger on this last night. Should arrive sometime next week. I'm going to have a body shop spray on the coating instead of using the foam applicator. Let me know if you're interested in dibs. One can supposedly has 8-10 applications. I'm going to do this on my car and my bike.

I did the research on LI already. I didn't like how the sensors looked in the grille and I'm not going to chance getting caught with that in CA.

So I sprung for it and applied it to my motorcycle and my car. You can barely see a difference in the clarity of the headlight. My body shop guy knows some customers who are sheriff and CHP so I guess we'll have to stage an experiment. The installation was done with some paper, tape, and an airgun. They did 3 coats just to get an even coating.
