*Update*
I was able to pick her up last night even though we have had the worst weather here in Chicago these past 2-3 days. I wasn't able to get on her to hard but all I can say this far is WOW!
Fun in the rain:

Congrats! Looks like we might get some decent weather tomorrow. One nice thing about all this rain the roads will be clean and grippy.

And of course I could not end the day with out getting pulled over at least once, thank god I was pulling into my place. I am gratful Chicago cops (in the city) have more important things to consume their time with!

Oh man your going to love the stage 3 setup. I don't know much about wheels but I just wanted to let you know that I run the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II's. I put them on the stock 18's. 265/40. The fit perfect and the hook up great on the street and track. I have had no problem with them. I had a hard time finding 17's that would fit.

Type in 255 35 18 9 54
Type in 275 40 17 9 50
Hoosier makes a very good drag radial 275-40 17 that works great!!
Be safe!!
The stock wheels are 18 x 9" with a +54 offset. A +50 only pushes the wheels out 4mm which is very minimal so you should be fine.

Go to this web site and put in the sizes you are comparing and it will give you the exact fitment. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...&Submit=Submit

Hopefully I will know more today, Steve and I have been in great communication he contacted me immediately and has been willing to help in anyway.
So I am not really sure what caused it but I was on my way to a little AMG meet here in Chicago and as I was getting on to the highway I did a pull through the first 3 gears. As I let off the gas I looked in my rear view mirror to see white smoke coming from the car. I immediately pulled over thinking that the smoke was coming from the engine bay but to my surprise it was only coming from the exhaust tips. I turned the car off and open the hood to see if I could notice anything physically wrong but everything seemed to be normal. I then turned the car back on and notice the smoke was only coming from the exhaust and everything else seemed to be normal. The car did idle a bit rough and it did end up throwing a CEL but other then that I don't notice anything else this far.
I will update with more details when available.

Head bolt, would be my educated guess.
Do you have black plastic valve covers? That would mean you have the new head bolts. If you don't, you have the old **** head bolts and I wouldn't trust those junk things with stage 3.
Look into changing to studs. You can do it like I did with the engine in the car. But if one busted off, you will have to pull the engine to get the head off and stud out.

Not 100% positive but I don't think the black valve covers and headbolt design were changed at the same time. black valve covers look like a model year change for 2012 where the headbolts seem to be changed sometime in 2011. My 2011 has updated headbolts and gray valve covers.
All that being said, I hate to say it but with your car being a 2010 I think Merc63 hit the nail on the head
Joe
