I ran in the Shift Sector Airstrip Attack this weekend. Lots of great cars and AMG was well represented. I made it to the tuner trophy round with my CLK , it was me against 3 AMS Alpha 9 and 10 GTR's...I pretty much got spanked, bit I guess I should Still be proud for making it to the shootout finals. CLK was trapping at 182 and C was trapping at 166.

I ended up racing Drew's ESS E92 M3.with my C BS, it is the fastest E9x M3 in the world , this was a very very anticipated race on some BMW boards. I am happy to provide you with video footage of that race.

The M3 runs a fully built motor, trans and a. ESS blower. It is a very fast car. My C is running a stock motor with stock trans and a Weistec stage 3 blower.

Great results. I am really happy with the result with the built M3 vs bolt on 63. Had quite a few bets running for when that race occurs and am cashing in today.

No, that car in the video you posted is an HPF E46 with a big turbo. They are faster than an E9x M3's with a blower. I actually ran agains a turbo E46 this weekend as well and I beat him once and he beat me once on clean passes.

Jim!! Good run Broski. It was great meeting you and the guys at Weistec, you came prepared and did great, I was very impressed, to think your car is just a bolt on blower as well, is awesome.

FWIW, the car has a stock DCT trans, and drop in LC pistons and rods, the block, heads, cams are all stock. Still you beat the worlds current running fastest E92 M3 in the world as far as I know and got some solid revenge from that Stage 2 run, good work Jim/Wesitec!

Hey Drew, Sorry for me posting mis-information somebody told me you had a DCT Trans upgrade. YOUR car is fast, faster than I thought to be honest, not trying to be cocky but I thought I would handle you easier so I was actually a little surprised it was as close as it was. I think a 1/4 mile would be much closer.

Thanks Jim, no worries whatsoever, you're not that far off we attempted to upgrade the clutches but were not successful, so that information is out there, I certainly don't expect you to know everything! I appreciate the kind words, you're a stand up guy, and it was a lot of fun, you guys did very well. I think my car has ran faster, like I kept saying a million times to everyone, lmao, the 730whp Ford GT and I are very good friends, and in prior runs we are pretty even, slight edge to him, but he got me by 3+ cars this time around, but who knows, highly modded cars are finicky as you know and my car was still fast. You did great and you got the win brother, honestly you'd easily get me in the 1/4 mile, but maybe one day we can run at Famoso, I would need a line lock though. Hope to see you guys at the next event, and thank you for all your support for Shift-S3ctor, these guys work really hard to make these events happen, great seeing some fast and really fast AMG's out there.

Great event out there with Shift S3ctor as always. Jim and Drew followed through with the much awaited battle, and the results were nothing short of amazing. I'm lucky to have witnessed it firsthand, and both cars are beyond impressive. Guys that run their cars more than their mouths are far and few in between, so thank you Jim and Drew for being a couple of those rare examples.

And gotta give ACG Automotive and Weistec a big thank you for helping me out at the track with my flat tire. Weistec supplied the tire patch kit, and ACG helped me install it. Great shops with some great people behind them.
