My car is parked in the condo building where I live and a camera is watching it 24/7.

But why would someone break in to my car because it has FL plates?

Btw, I thought when you had out of state plates they can't give you a ticket for tints or missing front plate. How is it fair if I was just visiting?

Dude, at my apt in San Jose, my car got broken into (not the C63). In my condo now, there have been several break-ins and several bicycle thefts. Tinted windows would keep you safer, but you should still keep it in showroom condition...absolutely empty.

When is getting a ticket ever about being fair? Try that defense with the judge next time, "But that's not FAIR..."

They would break into your car because, A) it's a nice car, B) because they think you're a tourist and you would keep your valuables in it.

Ok I see now. My car remains unlocked with windows down and there is a guard watching it. My building has like a parking facility where people come park (valet) their cars 24/7. If anything happens to the car they will be liable for it. Parking in my building is insanely expensive, they better keep an eye on it. We also have a lot of nice cars in the garage so my car is not gonna be too flashy.

Someone in Seattle once broke into my uncle's car because there was a quarter laying on the floor. Food for thought.

I got a silly parking ticket today for parking in front of aa fire hydrant! $115. It's totally a BS ticket I was pretty far from it! Plus I paid for the parking, so frustrating. In miami it was $18 lol

Welcome to New York City! NYC is pretty strict regarding keeping clear 15 feet of the hydrant on either side. Wait till you get the red light camera tickets on the West Side Highway. They come in the mail and it definitely isn't $18.

FYI:
Regardless of the registered state of the vehicle it must at all times comply to the local ordinances in which it is being driven/parked in.

Got pulled over this morning by some bored cop because I was driving 'erratically'

Best part is that he caught up with me using this silly thing, talk about a fail lol:

I was left with a warning though.
