2010 C63 blown power steering.
Hey all
I've had my 2010 C63 since July 2010.with no major issues apart from oil top ups and 2 coolant top ups. It has 27,000km.
Yesterday I was parking it and white smoke started to come out from the engine bay , I felt the steering lock up. I got out and saw a liquid running from under it.
I thought it was the head bolt issue as I'm in the range. I was a cool about it as Its still under warranty, and thought better now than later. ( but it wasn't)
It was towed and I was told that a high pressure power steering hose had blown and It will take a week to get the part.
Anyone else heard of this happening? ?

Lots of guys have blown the pump, etc.
Dont do full lock turns, it creates a lot of pressure.
Not good that you have had to fill up your coolant twice now.. Where is your coolant going??? Better get your oil tested for coolant and pressure test the cooling system..
How much coolant was needed?

Don't know exactly how much as I took it in and the dealer topped it up. It has been over 12 months since this has happened and it has been stable since. I plan to bring up the head bolt issue whilst they have the car in the workshop.
They will probably play the dumb card.
It has had a Service B since the top ups and they didn't say anything about the oil.
