My car is stuck in 1st gear and won't shift. Took it to the dealer (Mercedes of Manhattan) and they said they will get back to me tomorrow.

If they give me an insane quote, I'll just take it to an indy shop. Any recommendation? Something not too far from the city where they won't empty my bank account

Bruce from Tuning Technology Motorsports he's an AMG master holds 3 AMG 1/4 mile records and is a real down to earth guy. He's been working with AMGs for a while look him up on the forum he's big with the 55 guys and fully built my c63 coupe.

There are these two Greek guys that used to work for Mercedes and now they are independent. They are in Queens right by Silver Star Dealership. If you ask anyone in there for John and George they will tell you the name. i will try to get you the info. They have worked with mercedes and I take mine there for everything just never paid attention to the name lol.

My car has been sitting for 2 weeks at TTM and Bruce has been giving me excuses every day! I'm going to DC tomorrow and need to have my car back. I'm gonna have it towed back here in the city and fix it somewhere else, this is unprofessional. I even rented a car Saturday and went to see him in LI to insist in how urgent it was, and he assured me that he'll start working on it Saturday. Saturday he says Monday, and today he says Wednesday. This is insane!

I'm sending the car to Bergen Imports in NJ. Fück this.

Bruce seemed like a pretty nice guy when i met him at the track. But having the car for that long and not working on it, thats not right.

I talked to Bruce and he's saying that's the best and that everyone has to wait bla bla bla. He is a definitely a nice guy, it's just that I cannot afford to have the car down for that long. I just wish he told me in the beginning how long it takes to have it fixed.

Since he already has the parts I'm just gonna buy them from him and fix it with someone else.

Call Harry at Bergen Imports, tell him Mike with the black C63 referred you. Tell him what is wrong with the car and you need the car back by a certain date. He'll tell you if he can do it.

I don't know but I started going to a BMW shop rite over the bridge in NJ. MAXIMUM PSI guys do amazing work and the best welding I ever seen. They did a custom exhaust for me and had it done in no time, very professional. Pm me if you want a number and name .

Unfortunately, NJ is not convenient for me. I wouldn't be able to pick up / drop off in the morning or evening around working and commuting.
