C63s now in the garage. Sold-GLA45 AMG Edition 1, Sold-2010 Mercedes C63
This is EXACTLY why I choose to spend a bit of money on a nice/safe car. People always say what a waste of money it is to spend lots on a car. I always ask them, what is your life worth? I shake my head when I see a mother and baby on the highway doing 110 km/h in a suzuki swift. Ya it's great on gas but a collision like the one shown in the OP post and it's game over. 604_C63 and myself wrote off a C63 just over a year ago and have to think if we were in a econo box we wouldn't be here. Glad we are all able to somewhat walk away from some pretty serious crashes. just my 2 cents

Yes, keep always check out NHTSA, IIHS, and various NCAP's before buying a car. Of course, there was a major thread with debates on the validity of the new minimal front offset collision but my thinking go along the line of MB's official released statment.

First of all, I'm truly sorry that this happened to you! I know what it's like!! I'm grateful you shared this with us and glad to see that you aren't ready to share a pint with yer maker...
The C63 is a tank! It saves lives. Period. I value my safety, that's why I drive a Mercedes Benz! (Get hit by a "real" beer truck and you too might think twice about the tin can cars of the world...)
Furthermore I would assume that everyone has been contacted by the Mercedes Benz Accident and Research Division? If not, please go ahead and send these pics to them or to your builder of your engine on the AMG Private Lounge...
