well to make a long story short i swerved to miss a truck that cut in front of me, not here to talk about the accident but how the car handled it... paramedics did not except to see me alive when they came to the car, they said the car saved my life, crashed into a steel barrier which they had to cut to free the car. cars for sure totaled

A pain we all wish we never have to go through. Glad you're ok, sad the car is not. Get the icy hot and heat packs ready! You're going to be sore that's for sure.

my wife bananas! :D
wow! good to know you are ok! ... our cars really are built strong... considering the damage we see from the pics. See if you can pry that technician name plate from the engine cover as a memento
time for another c63 i think... this one served you well

If you had blind spot assist, can I buy the radar sensors that are in the rear bumper?

NIce car . It did what it was designed to do. Crumble in and minimally intrude into the passenger compartment. Your driver side A-pillar is not grossly deformed , your door may have even opened. The firewall probably didn't budge much either.
Thanks for sharing the pics and glad you are OK.
German crash standards are higher than USA. Part of the reason I purchased mine. Once you're chilled out , post some more pics , I'd like to see the firewall/pedals and drivers door frame.
Treat yourself to something nice.

Glad you are OK. Take it easy for a while- Mine was on March 15 and I'm still feeling it. The Crash investigator told me if I wouldn't have tried to avoid the old lady that pulled in front of me- I would have killed the 80+ woman in the passenger seat. He referred to my car as "a German Battering Ram designed to take a hit doing 160 on the Autoban". I had absolutely no damage to the interior of my vehicle but it doesn't look as bad as yours.

That is a lot of damage. Looks like the passenger compartment was well protected. Glad to hear you are OK and nice to see the car protected you from further harm.
