My C63 BS conversion....

and it will never be. For me the black Series is a very rare good looking car that is a collector.
I did not found one of the color and with the options I wanted when I decided to do my conversion. Furthermore, if I would have bought a black series I would not have modified it like I am doing with my car.
I wanted to have a car that I can drive everyday, go to the race track, do some 1/4 miles and put miles on it without being afraid of seeing the value going down to quickly. I had the choice between a body kit (Misha design, prior design) and the OEM parts. Without hesitation I choosed the OEM parts...
So there will be no black series badge on my car...I will not put any badge on it except the 6.3 sign on the front fenders.

To everybody arguing about the BS badges, the guy has put enough money and time into this that he can put whatever god damn badge he wants on there.

Out of curiosity, if you had to do it again and was able to order a CBS, which path would you have taken? Specifically, I'm curious of it was more expensive to buy a CBS or do this conversion with a C63.
If we consider only the BS body work+parts and the new Wheels required, it still less expensive than the real BS;
the price gap between real BS and conversion will also depend on what are the options you had in the C63 when you bought it and the extra mods you will choose to do like oil cooling system, rear axle and brakes....
Can't wait to see the final pics!
one of the reasons why i've steered away from the BS kits or wide bodykits is the fact of needing to get new wheels and tires! as much as i admire your conversion and others, i'd rather stay on what i have right now. but i have to say.. it sure is tempting!!!!

The OP understands what makes a black series but you obviously don't.
