I'm in Chicago often. You can find me blasting down LSD on my way to DaBears games for every home game.

Black with no badges, tinted on factory wheels in winter.
19" gunmetal Forgestars in the summer.

I also don't see many other C63s in the area.
Mine is currently hibernating

What are the specs for your wheels / tires? Bought local? I need some 19s for the summer.

Hey Everyone!

I don't live in Chicago, but I am in the Bartlett, Schaumburg, and Naperville (my buddy's are the master techs there) so when I don't want to do any work, or its warranty work, I am always at Naperville MB for my 63 and my 55. Here is my car

Forgestar CFV5 (Wheels are pretty light)
Finish: Textured Black Powdercoat
Pirelli PZero Silvers
19x8.5 +40 235/35R19 20Ibs w/o tires
19x10.0 +52 275/30R19 20.8Ibs w/o tires

Eurocharged V5 Tune
ROW Intake boxes w/KNs (no issues with oil and sensors,)
Coilovers
Arkym Style Carbon Fiber front Lip
Carbon Fiber rear Diffuser

^I was going to take my car to MB-Naperville for an alignment, but one of the service advisors told me their alignment rack does not work with aftermarket wheels. I ended up taking my car to MB-Chicago.

Not sure if the city guys are still around but I'll be on the lookout for you fellas. I'm on Hubbard and Kingsbury.

On a separate note, I am thinking about getting a tune. Is MB-Naperville mod friendly?

One of them worked on my car too about a month ago. I live in Streeterville (Grand and McClurg. 1 block west of LSD) but work out in Warrenville and had my car serviced last time at the Naperville location. They did an excellent job. Had terrible experience with MB of Chicago and Westmont.

My neighbor just got the new C63 edition 1. Don't really know him but we park next to each other.

Nice looking car you got there!

My experience with both MB-Chicago and Westmont was positive. Why was your experience terrible?

MB of Chi: Took my girlfriends C63 there for an oil change and when I got to work (30 miles away) the car was shaking very absurdly. No lights on the dash or leaks. I checked the dip stick and the f**kers never drained any oil but double filled it. And then had the guts to tell me to drive the car back to them instead of offering to have it towed. Never going to the service on division again since then.

Took the car to Westmont to have them look at the driving mode knob as sometimes it would lock up and sometimes it would spin freely. The service adviser calls me up to tell me that the car is ready and they replaced the command control knob. I told him the command knob was perfectly fine why would you replace it? And his response was "well they went through all the knobs and replaced the one that needed to!" So I figured maybe there was miscommunication between him and the tech. And picked up the vehicle, sure enough the driving mode knob was acting up still and called the SA up and left 2 voice mails. No response. Left message with receptionist, still no response. The called me up to take a survey about my experience and I told them what had happened. The survey person told me she would make sure a manager would call me. 2 months later and to this day no phone call from them so i moved on.

Sorry to hear that. Not sure how they can forget to drain the oil, unacceptable.

I had a terrible sales experience at Motorwerks at Barrington where I purchased the car. Because of this, I'm reluctant to take my car for service there even though the service facility is exceptionally nice.

I hear all you guys and can agree...

Had the WORST experience purchasing a C63 with WESTMONT....shady and scamming. Will never respond to issues and follow up with you...

MB of Barrington just doesn't have a youthful, 'with it" sales staff. Their service lacks AMG techs and organization. Last time I was there they were remodeling?

MB of Naperville was just tacky and cheesy. Unless you throw money at them for a $100K every year they are not going to give you any time of day.

MB of Chicago just was high pressure, no service support or decent Techs...

Please listen to me. You guys have got to take your cars to MB of Hoffman Estates. High in AMG sales and techs. The best service advisors: Scott Fienglass and the BEST tech EVER is Chris Gregois (spelling?). The guy is amazing with AMG and very, very nice...

Took my C63 there and only there for 3 years and they were super clean, super organized, super on time, Chris was knowledgable, and they never ever let me down.

Sales staff is up to date and they baby your car from the moment you bring it in...

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Try heading out a little west and try MB of St. Charles. I had excellent experience with the service department there--Mr. Erv Janicki was my service advisor.
