anyways I asked for the replacement yesterday and it came today!
as you can see the box is the right way out now and the filters are black. it also doesnt say AMG on them lol

so I installed this as well as deleted charcoals and can report no performance gain at all...also dont think it got louder...maybe but not noticable lol. damn that air box was dirty by the way. (first time changing filters in nearly 20k)

Mine got a little bit louder when i installed them. But i guess with your power pipe (straight) you were already loud 
I don't think you gain a lot in performance with these. Maybe combined with ROW airboxes, bigger air intakes and other engine mods (header, blower..)
