I hate it. No offence but why ruin a car's finish by covering it in plastidip? (vinyl is different) The plastidip gives a rough finish and looks 10x worse in person than in pictures. I like the colour and dont even mid the orange mesh but anyone who plastidips an entire car is a fool in my mind. I did my winter wheels and the stuff is not as "Surface Friendly" as they say. -I ended up stripping them and painting them. This is just my opinion and by all means take it with a grain of salt. The only thing that matters is whether you are happy or not.

Everyone has their own taste. I like it, personally, and we are probably going to dip our Lotus as well.
Personally, I think anyone who wraps their car in vinyl is a fool (haha couldnt resist!). I've never seen a full vinyl wrap that looks half as good in person as the plasti-dip looks

All that said, again, I'm not upset at all that you dont like it. Thankfully it's not your car, and since I like it, thats all that matters to me!

Looks good
I do agree with others about the grill and some other parts, but you have heard enough about that![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Plasti-Dip has come a long way and if you have a great shop to work with the finish is very nice, not textured. I live near the dipyourcar.com guys and when they dipped my SLK they added glossifier (sp?) to the dip to make it satin and reduce texture. Just a future thought.
Mine is back to stock black and I'm considering what color to do next, hmm.

i like the look, i know you are tired of hearing it but finishing the lower grill black and removing the plasti dip from the emblems would make the car look so much better (personal taste i know)

I don't think the painted lower grill looks bad, but it would bother me because it reminds me of those cars in used car lots that have had hack job repairs and resprays.

no I mean, I wasnt disagreeing with you all on the lower grill. black was what I originally wanted. It simply came down to time. He only had the car a very short amount of time, lol. Thankfully, we'll be in a position where he can get his hands on it a little longer this weekend.

Looks good. Hope you have your guy remove the dip later too. I dipped my whole car and it was the biggest PITA to remove. The creases around the headlights and all the other areas are impossible to get to and remove. Luckily, I dipped my leased car so I turned it in and BMW told me nothing..that car ended up pretty rough

Kinda like anyone who would get vinyl stickers of "funny sayings" plastered on their AMG to drive around their campus like a d-bag....
Buddy...you're classic....Maybe you should criticize yourself as harshly as you do others

No offense taken, beyond the part where I'm pretty sure you called me a fool ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Hahahah just kidding. My car is wrapped and I think it looks as good as a painted car (Did it myself)
I'm not a fan of orange or plastidip. But I can appreciate the work and effort that goes with it. So in that... I say NICE good job!
