Toyo r888 size advise

Hello everyone,

Im getting 19'' rims. After searching the forum I found out that people who purchase r888 use both sizes in the back, 265 and 295x30x19

Which one do you recommend? I would think that 295 would stick out.

Thanks,
Andrey

Question R888's

I'm running R888's 265's no way you can fit 295's without major fender mod.
BTW the R888's are very noisy, but I love the performance, so no problem here. lol

Ok. Yeah, I heard about that! I also heard those things pay off with an amazing grip you get. Do you guys run them daily? I was thinking of trying them for summer

I put them on mid or early april cant remember and drive that car 24/7 rain or shine although with my new tune it still breaks loose from a dig or most speeds under ~35mph but cornering is a dream

I have R888's 275 on the rear on 18's. I keep them on year-around at this point but the car does not come out much in bad weather and is not a DD.

As long as there is tread on them they don't totally suck in the wet. They are much better then I expected them to be in this regard.

Keep in mind that those R888s seem to heat cycle out fairly fast. Rumor is about 18 - 20 cycles. Then, even if you have tread left it won't be as sticky.

just installed!
235x35x19
265x3019
The grip is amazing, I have never experienced my car like this. One of the tires came with excessive road force, so a lot of vibration and noise. Tire Rack will get me the new one on wednesday.
