Lease is almost over
Well in September my lease will be over so its time to get a new
car but want to stick with AMG. I dont like big cars so my choice right now
is AMG A45 Edition 1. I was thinking of C63 again but I drove for 5 years so do want to go with new car.
A45 seems very fast 0-100km 4.6sec is only 1 sec slower than C63 but worry me is C63 with tune is 500hp vs 360hp so would I feel slower and no fun?
What do you all guys think?

I would miss the v8! what about an audi RS5 or a porsche 911?
the new CLA/A45 is going to be front wheel drive based and sends power to the rear wheels sometimes...so i'm not too excited about it.

SRYVICE HISTORY
Hi New member new car well 9 year old sl 55 amg. Previous owner has no service history as his company dealt with paper work. I only have a letter from a Mercedes dealer stating all service records are up to date.Can I check direct from Mercedes for service and damage repairs. Bill (now fast)

I think the A45 would be a big downgrade and a shock to the system

how roomy is the back seats of the A45?
I guess it comes down to what kind of stuff do you like the most about your c63? if its just acceleration than the A45 is ok. but if you love the sound, the rumble of the v8, then maybe you should get another c63

How about the new E63 sedan? All wheel drive, already boosted. An ECU tune would give a huge power increase, and it's not much bigger of a car than the C. Still has 4 doors so it's suitable for the family.

i know you said you didnt like the bigger sedans but have you tried a CLS 63? (if you want to stay AMG) its a big car, but I've driven it and it feels "small" to drive...maybe because of the roof or something but it did feel more sporty to be in than the E.
BTW if the A is anything similar to the CLA, the interior space is way smaller than a bigger coupe like an RS5 or a C coupe.
