oCarbon.com - looking for a few members to help us develop carbon fiber interior trim
-
Just got done with our first custom red set. Turned out amazing.

Sorry it's taken me a while to post some of these...better late than never. Everything from the first contact to the delivery of the final product was absolutely perfect. Customer service, accuracy, and quality of work is top notch. If I was going to do any other CF work--I know exactly where I'd go.
Thanks, Matt!

Long time no updates, but I'm still looking for W204 owners who want sets made, particularly those who want some more custom pieces. We've got a lot of new colored fabrics in as well as some black ones with cool weaves.
I'd really like to find a few people who'd like to go the custom route so I can get some more installed pictures of the custom fabrics we offer, along with some of the more custom pieces. I'm willing to give some discounts to those who are willing to be a little more adventurous.
If you see anything you want or have any ideas and want more info, feel free to shoot me an email at matt@ocarbon.com and we can discuss your options.
A few recent pics of custom pieces we've done.
This is a 2x2 twill fabric with threads of reflective red running through it (it's also available in copper, gold, silver, blue and green). The pics don't do it justice:

We've also been doing quite a few standard colored kevlar sets, like these few in red, yellow, and orange:

Aluminum coated fiberglass too:

Some non-traditional black weaves as well:

Keep in mind we can also do things like mirror caps, door sills, center caps for wheels, you name it:

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
. I'm so excited, I might pee my pants. Pictures when I get her back.NO ONE ELSE CAN DO THE YELLOW/CF NOW.
Again, beautiful work!! I think I'm gonna volunteer again. I did not know that there were so many "patterns" that can be achieved through the weave. Am I to assume that as long as you can weave it, it can happen? Will you please post some pics of the different weaves that you have done. Thanks,

I really like the checkerboard and wicker-basket weaves. What's the procedure again to get a discount for being a guinea pig? Would you like to post or should we PM about it?
Also, are you guys just wrapping or developing real CF trim pieces?
Email me at matt@ocarbon.com for a quote.
We can do both. But making parts and molds from scratch is a big investment, so its usually not doable for custom one off parts unless you've got a blank check to hand over to me. This is why you usually only see standard molded parts, hoods, bumpers, etc. There just isn't a big enough market to justify the costs involved with making molded seatbacks. And really, something like a seatback that wouldn't save any real weight to be molded, it just isn't worth it. A part wrapped in real carbon fiber will look and fit much better.
Blue and red carbon/kevlar hybrid in a dual twill (it's woven slightly different than the standard carbon/kevlar 2x2 twill):

And reflective fabric in both silver and blue:

Email me at matt@ocarbon.com with what pieces you want done and what fabric you want and I can get you a quote.
