Does anyone out there produce a black grille that fits the C63? I don't know how I feel about painting or wrapping my OEM grille.

Any and all feedback would be appreciated!

I had them powder coated gloss black at Wheel Solutions in Carrollton TX.

Carbon fiber yes, black no. You are probably better off wrapping in vinyl.

A respectable shop can paint it well. A chrome primer need to be applied to etch into the chrome to rough it up, then the paint is applied a day or two later.

I bought mine used with the black grill but had to replace it after a fender bender. The shop did an incredible job.

Paint is not bullet proof however. A little rock may chip it. Be sure to get the touch up paint in a small container from the shop who does it.

Plastidip may be your best solution for the chrome surrounds. I may try that because they get more debris chips. I think plastidip is good for small areas (like badges), but it looks cheaper and varies in color too much for the grill, IMO.

Your colors need a black grill.

Trent D I use a shop in Carrollton that can paint it for you, Excellent workmanship people you can trust. I have personally used them several times. http://www.nccautobody.com/ Greg is owner. I am taking my car back there next week to get vinyl removed from door chrome trim and having it painted correctly.
