2008,2009,2010 C63... Which to get??
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at buying a c63 in Australia and am reviewing the options online. Basically I'm probably going to end up with a 2008 (or maybe 2009) due to the price point.
However I'm not sure if there are any huge differences in inclusions or tech between the models, are there??? If you told me that a 2010 had a whole bunch of extra features that warranted a much higher price tag then so be it.... But I drove a 2008 on the weekend and it was unreal and didnt look old or dated, so....
Just specifically - does the sunroof open the whole way or just lift up a bit?
Also does anyone know if you can connect your iPhone wirelessly (not for Bluetooth speaking) but for playing music?
Thanks! Might have more questions to come.
Unfortunately there aren't a lot of choices where I live so any car or drive I want to take involves a 3 hour drive to the big smoke.
Also am considering a C350 but I reckon if I went with one I would always regret it!

I'm not sure how different it's over in Australia but my 09 C63's windshield can either open the whole way or just lift up. My iPhone 5 is not able to stream music over bluetooth unfortunately. I'm not sure if any new software updates fix that because I haven't checked.

In the states, some late MY 2010 cars have the P31 option. I wanted the P30 instead which was available from 08-early 10 as it has suspension modifications and LSD included and it's harder to find P31 plus LSD.
Later model year 2010 also have a back-up camera...

2010 also has the updated mirrors, which i prefer over the 2008-9s
I have an early build 2010 so I managed to get the P30 package on my 2010 car.
all the sunroofs on the sedans are the same, either opened all the way or lift up a bit.

FYI, just get the Tune2Air adapter to stream via Bluetooth. That's what I have. Plug it into the iPod cable and pair it. Good to go. Unlike the Blackberry adapter, this one keeps all the dash and steeringwheel functionality intact.

Great, thanks all.
I think the smarter decision is definitely getting a c350 from 2012 or similar, prob price equivalent to a 2008/2009 c63, much cheaper to run, prob get some warranty etc.
Might try to drive one first and see.
Don't want to always regret not chilling up for a c63 though... Aaahh.
Why can't we have US pricing?!?

Wife: You're not spending that much on a car
Me: Put your foot on the brake pedal and push the start button
Wife: OMG....we'll take it.
And that was before the test drive

If you can get a late 2010 or 11 go for it. Got my 11 with 9k miles for 50,549.. pretty ridiculous steal. Late 2010 dont have head bolt issues, as it was corrected mid 2010.
