It used to rub on bumps when I had 275's, I had to go down to 265's, no rubbing since.

eclectic assortment of cars
I've only ever heard good things about the Fortune Autos. At their price point, they are supposed to be quite high quality. The Swing spring upgrades are supposed to be quite worthwhile too. When I was in the market for coilovers for my S2000, it was a toss up between the Fortune Autos and KWs. Pros for the Fortune Autos are that they are made in the US, and thus servicing if required would be relatively easy (although KWs also have a US service facility I understand). For me it boiled down to the fact that KWs in the S2000 community are a much more known quantity, the knowledge base is huge compared to Fortune Autos. Also, by the time I added up the cost of the higher end 510 series with Swift spring upgrades, it basically cost the same as KW Variant 3s. Finding a screaming good deal on the KWs, I just went with those instead.

I'm keen to follow your thoughts on the Fortunate Autos in a markedly different type of application than the S2000.

Suspension is a hard science to get right. I wouldn't go off of google searches. I would go "brand name" You pay a premium, yes, but there is a reason why.
